Diablo 4 Max Level and Paragon
Diablo 4 max level is 70. Lord of Hatred raised the cap to 70 with patch 3.0.0 in Season of Reckoning. Paragon boards, tempering, masterworking, and Pit tier are the progression after that.
You stop earning character levels at 70. Experience in Torment still matters because higher difficulties pay more gold and drop higher-quality Ancestral gear, not because the level number moves.
Paragon boards open as the post-cap power track. Fill the board your build actually scales: Resolve and Faith for Blessed Hammer Paladin, Essence and cooldown for Blood Wave Necromancer, Mana for Ball Lightning Sorcerer.
Tempering at the blacksmith and masterworking are gear upgrades, not levels. Season 11 did not remove tempering. It is still the loop in Season 15.
Pit tier is the number that unlocks the next Torment. Tier 10 is Torment I. Pushing the Pit is the endgame level that replaced World Tiers.
